Which videos you choose to include are completely up to you; this guide will take you through a step-by-step guide on how to easily equip your proposals with video content.<blockquote>💡 Tip: You can use the Embed Video section to showcase a yacht, such as in <a href="https://yacht-trips.io/f3f67850-37f7-11ee-a247-49f42eccfc97/proposal" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">this example proposal.</a></blockquote><h3>Compatible Video Platforms&nbsp;</h3>Ankor’s Embed video section is currently compatible with YouTube and Vimeo. &nbsp;<h3>YouTube&nbsp;</h3>To embed a video from YouTube, follow these steps:&nbsp;<ol><li>Find the video you’d like to use.&nbsp;</li><li>Click the “Share” button.&nbsp;</li><li>Click the “Embed” option. (see Advanced Configuration below for configuration options)</li><li>There will be an embed code that starts with “&lt;iframe …". Click the “Copy” button beneath the box of code.&nbsp;</li><li>Navigate to your proposal in Trips.&nbsp;</li><li>Find where you’d like to insert your video between 2 existing sections in your proposal and click the blue “Add Section” button.&nbsp;</li><li>Find and select the “Embed Video” section from the ”Add new section” panel.&nbsp;</li><li>Once the “Embed Video” section has been added to the proposal, the edit panel will appear prompting you to insert the embed code you copied earlier.&nbsp;</li><li>Paste the embed code you copied earlier into the open field in the Embed Video side panel.&nbsp;</li><li>Click “Submit”.&nbsp;</li><li>Voilà! (see Advanced Configuration below for configuration options)</li><li>In this Share popup, you’ll see the Embed code. To the top-right of this code, click the “+ Show options” button.&nbsp;</li><li>Under the heading “Special Stuff”, ensure the checkbox labelled “Show text link underneath this video” in not ticked.&nbsp;</li><li>There will be a embed code that starts with “&lt;iframe …" under the Embed heading. Clicking on this embed code will highlight all the code, then right-click and Copy.&nbsp;</li><li>Navigate to your proposal in Trips.&nbsp;</li><li>Find where you’d like to insert your video between 2 existing sections in your proposal and click the blue “Add Section” button.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Find and select the “Embed Video” section from the ”Add new section” panel.&nbsp;</li><li>Once the “Embed Video” section has been added to the proposal, the edit panel will appear prompting you to insert the embed code you copied earlier.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Paste the embed code you copied earlier into the open field in the Embed Video side panel.&nbsp;</li><li>Click “Submit”.&nbsp;</li><li>Voilà! In addition, YouTube and Vimeo offer you options to configure your videos before you embed them into your proposal. Below are a few tips and tricks to use these simple tools for further customisation.&nbsp;<h3>YouTube&nbsp;</h3>At Step 3:&nbsp;<ul><li>Choose where you’d like the video to start from:&nbsp;<ul><li>Tick the “Start at” box located beneath the embed code.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Select the time you would like your video to begin playing from.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li>Hide the player controls of your YouTube video.&nbsp;<ul><li>Under “Embed Options”, untick the “Show player controls” box.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>This will hide the options that usually appear along the bottom of YouTube videos, giving your video a cleaner look within your proposal.&nbsp;</li></ul></li></ul>Be sure to copy the embed code (following from Step 4) after you’ve made these configurations.&nbsp;<h3>Vimeo&nbsp;</h3>At Step 2, to the top-right of the embed code area, click “Show options”.&nbsp;<ul><li>Vimeo offers plenty of options for you to tweak and configure your video.
