What to expect when claiming a Yacht

This guide will take you through all you need to know about Claiing vessels in our Calendars application.

What does it mean to claim a yacht?

Each yacht in our database is managed by a single verified central agent to prevent conflicts. When a new central agent joins Calendars, they must claim the yachts they wish to manage. This process includes identity verification to confirm their legal authority to update yacht information, receive inquiries, and perform management tasks.

How do I claim a yacht from within calendars?

1. Start by logging into Calendars and clicking the 'Claim a Yacht' button at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

2. Once clicked, search for your yacht using the search tool available. Double check the length, build year, and builder match your own records. Once you have found the yacht, click Claim.

3. Next, fill in the requested fields by uploading a Verification document such as a Central Agent Agreement with valid dates; upload any Brochures you wish to include in the yacht profile; and an Additional Message you wish to leave for your assessor.

4. Once you have done this, click Submit.

What happens if I can't find my yacht?

If you can't find your yacht using our search tool:

1. Click the "Your Yacht Not Listed?" button.

2. Fill in the required fields by uploading a verification document (such as a Central Agent Agreement with valid dates), any brochures you want to include in the yacht profile, and an additional message for your assessor.

3. When you're done, click "Submit."

How long does the review process take?

The review process usually takes 24-48 hours to access. Once your yacht has been approved, it will appear in the "My Fleet" section of calendars when you login.

My application was rejected. What should I do?

Your application may have been rejected for several reasons:

1. The verification document you uploaded is not recognized by our assessor team.

2. The yacht's name in your application does not exactly match the name on your verification document.

3. The yacht has already been claimed, or there is a conflict with another claim.

If this happens and you believe there was a mistake, you can either:

1. Try resubmitting a new claim request and double-checking the information you have provided and the yacht you have selected.

2. Speak to our Customer Success team, who are here to support you via support@ankor.io or chat with us using the Life ring Help feature at the bottom right of our application.
